TACA Lexus Party on the GreenDALLAS – August 29, 2018 – TACA (The Arts Community Alliance) announced today that one of the most celebrated fundraising events in Dallas – TACA Lexus Party on the Green – will take place Friday, October 5, at 6:30 p.m. in the Elaine D. and Charles A. Sammons Park at the AT&T Performing Arts Center.  The outdoor, casual-chic evening will offer the best of Dallas cuisine from 21 notable chefs, entertainment by TACA grant recipients and DJ Lucy Wrubel, and a festive outdoor atmosphere for supporting the Dallas arts community.  The event will also feature mixologists, a silent auction, and a wine cork pull that includes a chance to win tickets to TACA grant recipient performances.

“We look forward to our return of the TACA Lexus Party on the Green to the Dallas Arts District and the move of this signature event to the fall,” said TACA Board Chair Michelle Thomas.  “October marks the beginning of a busy fundraising season for many, but we’ll celebrate our annual event a bit differently in a relaxed, casual outdoor environment under the stars at the AT&T Performing Arts Center.”

This year’s Party on the Green Chairs are Ann Mahowald and Ann Whitley Wood, along with Honorary Chairs Mickey and Bill Lively, and Chef Chair Barbara Bouman, who will oversee a number of firsts for the event:
