Elevating Bold Artistic Voices
TACA’s New Works Fund supports the creation and presentation of groundbreaking artistic works by underrepresented voices. We empower local artists to push boundaries, explore fresh ideas, and inspire meaningful change.
Since 2022, this fund has fueled new works in literature, performing arts, and visual arts by BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and women creators, fostering innovation and inclusivity in Dallas’ vibrant arts community.

The TACA New Works Fund was created in response to a community-wide desire to spur the creation of new works of performing art in North Texas. Between 2012 and 2022, the New Works Fund supported the creation of 33 new works of performing art with over $1 million in grants, further establishing North Texas as one of the nation’s major cultural incubators.
