Your exclusive day in the Dallas Arts District begins with a private tour of the Dallas Museum of Art, followed by a delicious lunch prepared by Executive Chef Dan Landsberg in the stunning, art-filled Ellie’s Restaurant located inside the newly opened HALL Arts Hotel. You will be joined by Ian Derrer, General Director, and CEO at the Dallas Opera, who will provide insights into the magic behind the curtain at the Dallas Opera. Later in the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to experience a bit of this magic during your private backstage tour at the Winspear Opera House. If the opera is in residence the day of your visit, you will also have the rare treat of viewing a private rehearsal.
Following lunch, HALL Arts Hotel Curator, Patricia Meadows, will provide a private tour through HALL Arts Hotel and the HALL Texas Sculpture Walk showcasing the incredible art collection and a sneak peek at the luxury HALL Arts Residences.
Prior to your “Day in the District”, DSO violin section member, Bruce Patti will meet with you one-on-one to share ideas about the kind of music you enjoy to inspire a new, custom string quartet composition, which you and your guests will enjoy during your stop at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center. There, you’ll experience the exclusive world premiere performance of your custom composition and a champagne toast with the musicians.
Your day ends with a reception with TACA leaders including cocktails, canapes, and views of the Dallas skyline from a TACA board member’s home at Museum Tower.
Valet parking and private shuttle included.
