Lo ’t is an annual meeting of The Raven Society in the sanctuary of Arts Mission Oak Cliff, where it’s rumored ghosts abound!  A macabre evening centered on a rendering of Edgar Allan Poe’s legendary poem, “The Raven,” and interspersed with select sketches and scenes from his gothic art of romance, lore, and loss.  Raven’s Night promises to be an immersive dinner theater experience, co-produced by Fair Assembly (Emily Ernst) and Arts Mission Oak Cliff (Avery-Jai Andrews), celebrating the arts of poetry and spoken word, theater, dance, and song.  Join us for specialty Raven cocktails and elevated, eerie tavern fare from Boxwood Hospitality, and some spooktacular October fun.  Beware of the bells, the ghosts of Poe, and the worm – it shall not be forgot!

Building on last year’s Contemporary Mo(ve)ment event, TACA is again partnering with The Cedars Union on The Autumn Fair at Fond.  This art salon-styled event will engage your discerning eye with new visual artwork created by local Dallas artists.  Hosted by a special guest speaker, the evening event will feature French-inspired cuisine by chefs Jennie Kelley and Brandon Moore from Fond, one of Dallas’ latest downtown neighborhood dining spots.  Three local artists will showcase a selection of their work, discuss their artistic origins and creative process, and unveil a new work of art inspired by the 2024 TACA Fall Arts Crawl event series.  These new works will be available to purchase via silent auction.  Come learn about some local artists that help make Dallas a truly cosmopolitan city.

“Art isn’t everything. It’s just about everything.”

An immersive feast for the senses inspired by ancient Mexican Flor y Canto poetry. The evening will be a celebration of nature through Nahuatl poetry, imagery, visual art from Sara Cardona, traditional Mexican and Flamenco dance, authentic cumbia music from Sabor Puro, and delicious Latin-inspired cuisine.  Come on this literary, artistic, and sonic journey with us, curated by artistic producer, David Lozano, from Cara Mia Theatre.
